Marion was entered at her first all breed shows in Jan 2017 practicing for the big Feb specialties in NY. She earned 3 points toward her champion title. 

At her first specialties @ 9 months of age, Marion was Reserve Winners on Saturday and was Best In Sweeps on Sunday! Next up for Marion was the Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry, GA where she was Winners Bitch @ BOTH GSCA specialties for 2 five point majors and BOS in Puppy Sweeps before her 1st birthday!

After the 2017 National Specialty, Marion has gone to "bird dog camp" for training with Janie Bristow. First reports have been very positive and we're looking forward to a new hunting title in Marion's future.

In early 2018 Marion started limping and I took her to my vet's thinking we were looking at ACL injury. What we found instead was gut wrenching. Marion had bone cancer. Not a lot of options, she had to have her left rear leg amputated. Very rare in young dogs, we weren't looking at a very good prognosis. But I was lucky enough to share Marion's sweet and loving personality for another 13 months before the cancer returned and we had to say goodbye to one of the most beautiful Gordon girls to carry the Fair Isle name. And she was … "all that".
